Julie Roehm Ready For Primetime!

Those of you who read this blog regularly, and attend our breakfasts know that Julie Roehm is a good friend (a true FOBS) of mine as well as an early supporter and fan of our events at NY:MIEG.

For the record, Julie and I first met when she was at Chrysler in 2002 and stayed in contact thru her less than comfortable Wal*Mart era. Julie and I have shared advice, counsel and support and that is what friendship is all about.

I have been referring to Julie as a Rockstar for as long as I have known her and now it appears as though Mark Burnett agrees.

Congrats Julie…you are the best!

Update on CBS’s show: JINGLES!

Do you remember, Kimberly Caldwell, an American Idol contestant from Season 2? She is going to be the beautiful host of CBS’s new reality show, JINGLES, slated to premier this year. And Gene Simmons from the heavy metal rock band, KISS, has signed on to be a judge. He’ll be joined by advertising and marketing gurus, Julie Roehm and Linda Kaplan Thaler.

Contestants will be writing and performing jingles for everything from food products to sports teams and the winner gets $100,000 and a sweet advertising contract. Stay tuned for more information on “JINGLES!”
