Ben Silverman and NBC: Could Knight Rider be the next Supertrain?

Am I the only one who remembers the show Supertrain from February 1979?
Enjoying a brief six month run on NBC-TV, “Supertrain” has been noted as one of television’s biggest disasters of all-time. “Supertrain” was reportedly rushed into production, cost the network a fortune, and failed miserably in the ratings…and if memory serves, cost quite a few people in both Burbank and at 30Rock their jobs.
Not sure if the new “Knight Rider” will become the next “Supertrain” however I found the following blurb on FishBowlNY of interest.

Ben Silverman Riding Towards the End?
Could last night have been the middle of the end for Ben Silverman, the embattled co-chairman of NBC Entertainment?
According to TV By The Numbers (via Vulture), only 7.3 million people tuned in last night for the premiere of Knight Rider, a show Silverman championed.
Just last week he got a vote of confidence from his boss Jeff Zucker, but if the Peacock continues to struggle, it could give the company’s brass the excuse it needs to get rid of Silverman.
