My meeting with the Obama Girl

To be honest I had no idea what to expect…my first meeting with Amber Lee Ettinger (a/k/a The Obama Girl) earlier this week. Truth be told she was incredibly nice…very warm and so excited to have been asked to be part of our panel discussion on June 2nd “Selling Yourself: How to Build a Brand in the New Digital World”…and we couldn’t be more thrilled to have her join our panel along with Norm Golden (50toDeath), Andrea Syrtash (AskAndrea), Ellis Henican (Newsday and Fox News) and of course the brains behind the Obama Girl and BarelyPolitical.com, Ben Relles on June 20th during Internet Week in New York.

For those of you who are unfamiliar, Amber Lee Ettinger is an American actress, internet celebrity, and model best known as Obama Girl in her online video “I Got a Crush… on Obama” – referring to U.S. Senator (now President) Barack Obama – which has earned her scores of media appearances, from a part in a Saturday Night Live sketch with Fred Armisen as Obama to an interview on Geraldo at Large with Geraldo Rivera and Bill O’Reilly’s The Factor.

Amber is part of BarelyPolitical.com part of my friend Fred Seibert’s company NextNewNetworks and will be joining us at our breakfast event on June 2nd as part of Internet Week in New York.
