iWork Killer App For iPad?

Is iWork the killer app for the iPad or will the iPad ultimately kill iWork? In the past iWork has been non-starter: positioned between Microsoft’s over-featured Office suite and Oracle’s free OpenOffice. Child of ClarisWorks, it never quite caught caught on. I once spent a whole day trying to do a keyframe animation in Keynote (something easily accomplished in PowerPoint) and eventually gave up.

Perhaps the iPad will breathe new life into the now multi-touch iWork suite. Or maybe not. If the iPad turns out to be a replacement for peoples PDAs, then Numbers and Pages will fit the bill. If the iPad becomes everyones netbook, then people might find Numbers and Keynote lacking.

What might be the real iPad killer app? A camera in the middle of the display. (Patent applied for?)
