I know…I know…I’ve been saying for weeks now I am tired of all the press “Almost VP Sarah Palin” has been receiving…not only before the election but now that it’s over she is a total “who care” but is she? My friend and trusted advsior, Douglas Warshaw, just wrote a great article in the “The Daily Beast” in Tina Brown’s new online site “The Daily Beast.!

From the day it was introduced I was fascinated by the Segway.For those unaware, the Segway is a two-wheeled, self-balancing electric vehicle invented by Dean Kamen. It is produced by Segway Inc. of New Hampshire, USA. The name “Segway” is a homophone of “segue” (a smooth transition, literally Italian for “follows”). PT is an initialism for personal transporter while the old suffix HT was an initialism for human transporter.
That said this Thursday, World Usability Day is being co-sponsored by UsabilityNJ the NJ affiliate of Usability Professionals’ Association featuring the new Segway. Read more

I really try hard not to get to political here…but this goes beyond political…this is just plan stupid.
For some reason I have been on the mailing list of some sort of Right Wing/Republican website (yes, there actually are one or two) and came across the link here.

OK…I admit it…I am a Ellis Henican fan. I read his column in Newsday, AM New York and look forward to his appearances on Fox News and Fox Radio…not to mention his occasional stints as moderator at those “infamous” NY:MIEG events 
Once again, his column is right on target and today’s piece from AMNew York is no exception. (BTW, 
Ellis will be moderating our event next Thursday, Nov 13th entitled “THE NEXT PRESIDENT AND THE MEDIA; WHO’S IN CHARGE HERE?”
Historic.The word’s been tossed around so loosely this year, it’s been losing some of its zing - cheapened perhaps forever as a political tool.
Yes, we know: Barack Obama would be the first black president.
Yes, we know: John McCain would be the oldest first-term president.
Yes, we know: Sarah Palin would be the first female vice president.
But those three facts, powerful as they are, are just a small part of the history being made here. No matter how the votes come in, Election 2008 really will rewrite the history books.
