Here is the latest blog posting from Adrie Reinders, Co-Founder and CEO of The E.Factor in his weekly blog entitled “Our Future………..”
The day I delivered my Keynote presentation at the Kelley School of Business, Indiana University, turned out to be a most inspiring day.
Just over a year ago, my dear friend Hideo Ito, former Chairman Toshiba N&S, America, introduced me to Roberto Garcia - Co-Director, Supply Chain & Global Management Academy. Roberto asked me then to deliver a Keynote at the start of the MBA class of 2010 on Networking. So this past Monday, the 20th October I turned up in Bloomington to meet the class of 2010, a fascinating group of young people representing many different countries, all with high expectations of the Business School and themselves and grand dreams of a new career.

Here is the latest from Adrie Reinders, Co-Founder and CEO of the E.Factor
This is the time where a founder of a company has to show leadership, and you need to step up to the plate. Large organizations generally speaking can be compared to a regular army. There are many divisions, with an equal number of officers there to lead each division. The troops are simply following orders and are there to move and handle the heavy equipment for the team. They are very powerful but it takes them 30-60 days to get into position and effectively go to the war they declared. Once they are moving, they are often unstoppable. Read more
Marion Freijsen “Do or Don’t: a Self fullfilling Prophecy?”
October 18, 2008 by Bill Sobel · Leave a Comment
In her weekly blog on the E.Factor, my colleague Marion Freijsen gives her spin on the current economic crisis. What is especially unique here is something you don’t hear much in the media these days…a perspective from a non-American entrepreneur who does an enormous amount of business here in the states and around the world.
Do or Don’t: a Self-Fullfilling Prophecy?
Marion Freijsen | Oct 18, 08
These days you cannot open a paper, or switch on the TV or even your laptop, without some story of impending doom and gloom related to the “Financial Crisis”. Particularly in the US, programmes are filled with experts that provide their vision on how a citizen may survive this time, those visions ranging from saving coupons, to staying at home and playing board games with home made popcorn instead of going out to the cinema etc.
The question it raises in my mind is what this is all about. First of all, there are TWO situations that arose in recent months instead of it being ONE. Read more

Adrie Reinders: Cash is King
October 11, 2008 by Bill Sobel · Leave a Comment
My friend and colleague Adrie Reinders has the uncanny ability to write it exactly as he sees it…and more of then than not he is right on target. I found his blog post on E.Factor especially timely.
As a board member of many start-ups, I have had to deal with numerous situations where cash flow is not sufficient. It can be very painful to really grasp the issue and make significant changes but it is absolutely necessary to do just that in situations such as we are all experiencing right now. Read more
