About Veronique Verscheure
VERONIQUE VERSCHEURE is director of communications at Sobel Media, the digital-media connections company. A passionate entrepreneur with strong international experience and tested leadership skills, Veronique is responsible for facilitating high-level business-networking events and pursuing new business opportunities. Prior to joining Sobel Media, she was operations manager at Golan Consulting, matching senior talent with Israeli companies in North America, and COO of Grace Hats NY, a subsidiary of Grace Corporation Japan, where she launched the U.S. brand of a wholesale millinery company.
Focused, organized and broadly multicultural, Veronique thrives in a challenging and creative business environment. She earned her MBA at the Zicklin School of Business of Baruch College, where she concentrated in International Business and Industrial Organizational Psychology and managed on-line operations for the Graduate Career Management Center.
Known for her avid curiosity and upbeat charisma, Veronique can motivate almost anyone. She speaks English, French, Hebrew, Japanese and Spanish. Her early international experience includes positions as a salesperson and transfer agent in Paris, a translator and language instructor in Tokyo and a sergeant in the Israeli Defense Forces. She is active in several nonprofit organizations including the International Federation of Business and Professional Women, where she serves as 1st vice president of the Manhattan chapter. Beyond international business and travel, her personal interests include media, gadgets, drawing, yoga and Aikido.
